CIP Process Device Profiles enable device interchangeability across vendors, giving end users confidence that devices sharing the same profile can be seamlessly swapped. To take advantage of this Cross-Vendor Device Replacement capability, vendor-neutral EDS files are available for each Process Device Profile.
