The 2026 ODVA Industry Conference and Annual Meeting will take place in Portugal’s beautiful Algarve. The region is a popular but less-busy holiday destination that offers a diversity of experiences, from world-class golf, pine forests, Aquashow water park, Roman ruins, Museum of Cerro da Vila, water sports, and plenty of dining and nightlife opportunities.
Named one of the world’s best beaches, Praia da Falésia is known for its stunning golden sands that stretch between inviting blue Atlantic waters and a backdrop of colorful cliffs. This beach is ideal for swimming, relaxing, and long walks along the shore, with nearby paths offering great coastal views. From the Hilton Vilamours, Praia da Falésia is about 3 km (around 2 miles) from the hotel to the beach, which is a 10–15 minute walk or a short drive/shuttle ride away.
Once the technical sessions and meetings end, let the adventure begin! Central Vilamoura is one kilometer from the door, and the Hilton Vilamoura offers a free shuttle that covers Vilamoura Marina and Falesia private beach, both within 20 minutes. The property offers six pools with cascading waterfalls, Portugal’s largest spa, and a kids’ club. Adjacent to the Hilton Vilamoura, Pinhal golf course offers 18 holes that blend challenging elevation changes with scenic views on a mature and beautifully maintained property.

Ground Transportation: Faro (FAO) Airport to Hilton Vilamoura
Contact event coordinator Sonia Cesar, [email protected], to arrange ground transportation with a Hilton Vilamoura-affiliated transfer company from Faro airport to the Conference venue at Hilton Vilamoura. The trip is approximately 30 minutes (25KM). Transfer expenses booked through [email protected] will be charged to your hotel room bill.

- Mini-vans up to 8 people : 55€ p.van(daytime) |Night time: 66€(from 21h00-06h00)
- Rates are including vat, per each way and considering 1 luggage piece +1 handbag per person
- Waiting period of 30 minutes. After this time, extra fees are applicable, unless you advise transfer company of delays in a timely manner.
- Hilton Vilamoura will group event participants together in car-sharing whenever traveling on the same flight: better for the environment, networking and budget.
- All arrival pick-ups will be duly met by driver at Arrivals Gate, with event signage.
- Departure taxis pick-ups must be booked with 2h30 in advance of flight (considering 30 minutes for trip + 2 hours in advance for check-in), unless otherwise requested by you.
- For changes on the day of the pick-up, please inform the transfer company directly & as soon as possible for an adequate transfer company adjustment. Transfer company´s email & mobile will be shared with you upon booking.
