Description and Agenda

ODVA’s Roundtable for EtherNet/IP is an activity of ODVA members and invited experts aimed at helping to promote adoption, technical leadership and interoperability of EtherNet/IP through exploratory discussion and collaboration with peers within ODVA and industry and through interoperability PlugFests. The agenda includes:

  • Working session on PlugFest updates with a view to updating it to contemporary application needs. Intention is to add CIP Security & CIP Safety scenarios (stretch goal)
  • Working session in EDS Enhancements (will let Joakim advise if this an appropriate description)
  • Prototyping & Testing of proposed IPv6 extensions to EtherNet/IP
  • Any other topics that members would like to present / discuss (highly encouraged)

ODVA members and invited experts may register to participate by submitting the form below. There is no fee. Remote participation is possible, and virtual meeting participation information will be distributed prior to the meeting. Roundtables are conducted in English.

Travel Information

Nearest Railway Station:  Diegem – with good connections from Brussels Nord/Noord and Midi/Zuid

Nearest Airports:

  • Brussels (BRU). An Uber ride between BRU and the Rockwell office is typically 15-20 Euro
  • Brussels South Charleroi (CRL) (count 2 hours by public transport)

General Hotel Recommendations:

  • NH Brussels Airport – right next to the meeting location, but not an interesting area
  • Anything in Brussels City – pick something within walking distance of Central Station
  • Park Inn, Leuven – a 20-minute train ride to the office but a much nicer place to stay with plenty of restaurants
