The 2026 ODVA Industry Conference and 24th Annual Meeting will take place in Portugal’s beautiful Algarve. The region is a popular but less-busy holiday destination that offers a diversity of experiences, from world-class golf, pine forests, Aquashow water park, Roman ruins, Museum of Cerro da Vila, water sports, and plenty of dining and nightlife opportunities.
Named one of the world’s best beaches, Praia da Falésia is known for its stunning golden sands that stretch between inviting blue Atlantic waters and a backdrop of colorful cliffs. This beach is ideal for swimming, relaxing, and long walks along the shore, with nearby paths offering great coastal views. From the Hilton Vilamours, Praia da Falésia is about 3 km (around 2 miles) from the hotel to the beach, which is a 10–15 minute walk or a short drive/shuttle ride away.
Once the technical sessions and meetings end, let the adventure begin! Central Vilamoura is a kilometer from the door, and the Hilton Vilamoura offers a free shuttle that covers Vilamoura Marina and Falesia private beach, both within 20 minutes. The property has six pools with cascading waterfalls, Portugal’s largest spa, and a kids’ club.
