EtherNet/IP In-Cabinet Media Planning and Installation Manual
This manual covers the planning and installation of EtherNet/IP In-Cabinet industrial control networks supporting 10 Mb/s. It describes systematic planning approaches and troubleshooting the In-Cabinet network. This is intended to be a companion document to the existing ODVA EtherNet/IP Planning and Installation manual (PUB00148R0).
Media types supported for EtherNet/IP networks are:
- Cabling components (components and designators described in section 1.5)
- Cable C1
- Plug Connectors P1 and P2
- Jack Connectors J1 and J2
- Terminator T1
- Splicer S1
- Dust Cover D1
Other data rates, media types, and the planning and installation of generic cabling systems are beyond the scope of this document.
