Technical Abstract
Experts agree that security is the key to making the digital transformation of industrial plants a sustainable success. The standards development organizations ODVA, PI, OPC Foundation and FieldComm Group have recognized this and are working together on a holistic approach to security concepts. In doing so, they take into account the various standard protocols of industrial communication.
The Industrial Ethernet Security Harmonization Group meets regularly to harmonize these security concepts in the best possible way. In this way, the new concepts should not only create security, but also a profitable benefit. In this session you will learn about the most important results, previous challenges, and future plans of the working group.
