Can a device with a valid Declaration of Conformity be relabeled to be sold by a third party?

Because ODVA’s relationships with its vendors cannot be sublicensed or transferred, each vendor’s products need to be certified directly by ODVA using the vendor’s unique vendor ID. Each vendor must follow the user responsibilities outlined in ODVA’s Terms of Usage Agreement, regardless of whether a company developed a product completely in-house, built a product utilizing third-party hardware or software, or purchased an entire product ready-to-relabel from an ODVA licensed vendor. ODVA does not have a policy or procedure for private labelling at this time.
