ODVA has established its Implementors Workshop series as the premier tool to help developers get products to market quickly. The Implementor Workshop series is being run in both Europe and North America on parallel tracks so that any vendor on either continent can get involved with this hands-on approach to product training and development.
Each year, a series of workshops is held to get developers up to speed on the application of CIP technology to EtherNet/IP. Each workshop is built on the previous workshop experiences. With the guidance of a knowledgable leader, each participant can learn from others and also help increase the knowledge base of all participants.
Each year, both the European and North American tours hold a "PlugFest" which brings together participants and their products in a three day event to test interoperability and to debug products before launch.
