The STB NIC 2212 is a new Network Interface Module for the Advantys STB range that provides adapter functionality using the EtherNet/IP protocol. It is an ODVA compliant device that supports all standard CIP services along with embedded Web page functionality.

It has the same features as other STB Network Interface Modules including:

• HMI connectivity on serial port
• Device integration (ATV, TeSys T/U, valve terminal, etc.)
• Up to 32 modules
• Removable memory card for easy device replacement
• IP20 protection, operating @ -25 to 70 Deg C , 5g vibration, 30g shock
• ODVA certification
• 10/100Mbps, half/full duplex Ethernet port
• Ability to communicate with Schneider and 3rd party PLCs on EtherNet/IP
• Allows multiple ways to set up an IP address (DHCP, BootP and Web Page)
• Remote configuration of the I/O using the Advantys Configuration Software (Serial and Ethernet)
• Network services for diagnostic and network management: Web pages, SNMP
• Messaging supported:
  - Connected Implicit (Class1)
  - Connected Explicit (Class3)
  - UCMM capable
  - 32 connections max
