Brad Direct-Link Ethernet Switches
Brad Direct-Link Ethernet switches meet the demanding requirements of industrial control and monitoring applications. They are designed to work reliably in complex networks with high data-rates while withstanding the challenge of
harsh plant floor environments. Available in both in cabinet (IP30/IP40) as well as machine-mount (IP67) designs, the Direct-Link switches can be applied in any industrial setting.
The IP30/IP40 models are offered as either unmanaged or managed performance in a variety of port configurations that support both copper and fiber media. These switches can be DIN rail or panel mounted. Managed switches provide traffic control using VLAN and IGMP. Diagnostics can be easily performed using SNMP, RMON and Port Mirroring. Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol for fault-tolerant loops and redundant power supply are also supported. Configuration of managed switches can be done using either the local RJ-45 or USB configuration ports or by using a remote web interface provided with the switch. The web interface provides a quick and easy way to configure the switch from a PC.
The IP67 models come in either 5 or 8 port versions, with unmanaged performance and a wide operating temperature range of -20 to 75 C. Redundant power connections are supported, and all Ethernet ports are designed for the fool-proof Ultra-Lock M12 connector system.
