The Factory Line modular managed switch (MMS) provides Industrial switching capability that can be seamlessly scaled from 2 ports to 24 ports. The hot swappable modular 2-port interfaces allow a precise tailoring of the switch configuration to the application, reducing the installed cost and space. Unique bottom or front accessible cable options allow installation in control cabinets or low working depth junction boxes. Interface modules are available for twisted pair, multimode and single mode glass fiber and low cost/fast termination polymer or HCS fiber. With a diagnostic display, simplified LED layout and "PLC
like" web pages, the MMS is optimized for maintenance by plant floor personnel. Compatibility with both IT standards such as redundancy, SNMP, QoS, and EtherNet/IP performance enhancing message filtering such as IGMP snooping with Query, allows the enterprise integration of high performance systems.
