Isysnet has three major components: - Communications adapter
- I/O modules provide digital and analog inputs and outputs allowing the Isysnet system to provide 256 input and 256 output capacity with 2, 4, 8, or 16 points per module
- Valve driver modules provide control for 32 solenoids per manifold, with bus extension providing connectivity to 3 more manifolds
By partnering with Rockwell Automation, Parker has been able to reduce installation time and machine cost for pneumatic valve manifolds by providing a fieldbus solution with Preferred Connectivity to the Rockwell Automation Logix™ Architecture. Preferred Connectivity allows users to configure and commission Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet, and ControlNet nodes fast and accurately. Because all the information needed for the device profile is already loaded into the Allen-Bradley RSLogix5000™ software, configuration time is reduced by up to 70%. The process is reduced from 4 clicks and 7 data fields to merely 3 clicks, with no additional values for the user to enter. This means there are no installation manuals to search through and no chance of entering incorrect information.
