Radio Frequency ID Interface

 

 

The BIDN DeviceNet interface unit from BALOGH. Configured as a slave device, the BIDN provides a simple and efficient interface between the BALOGH Radio Frequency Identification System and a DeviceNet Network. 

 

Features Include:

  • Dual channel capability. The BIDN can control up to (2) transceivers, each functioning independently and simultaneously.
  • Multi-Drop capability.  Multiple BIDN interfaces can be connected on a DeviceNet network. (Number of units on a network varies depending on DeviceNet controller).
  • DeviceNet compliant through ODVA's Independent Conformance Testing Laboratories.
  • Operational power is supplied directly from the DeviceNet network (External power connection available). 
  • Communicates with BALOGH Read Only, and Read/Write Passive TAGS.
  • IP-65 Rated Field Mountable metallic enclosure.
  • Quick Connector wiring (IP-65 rated). Transceiver connections use BALOGH's high quality transceiver cables.
  • Small Footprint provides ease of mounting (150mm x 130mm x 45mm).
  • Selectable data transfer rate (125K baud, 250K baud, 500K baud).
  • Selectable node addressing (0 to 63).
  • LED status indicators for Network status, Module status, Command Execution, TAG Presence, Error indication, and 24 VDC.
  • Automatic self-test on power-up.
  • CE standard compliant (for noise immunity).
