The PowerFlex ® DSI ControlNet adapter provides redundant coaxial ControlNet connections for PowerFlex ® 4 0, PowerFlex ® 40P or PowerFlex ® 400 drives. The adapter provides a means to control, configure, and collect data over a highly deterministic, very repeatable ControlNet network. It can also be used with other Allen-Bradley products that support a DSI adapter, such as the DSI External Communications Kit (22-XCOMM-DC-BASE), which enables PowerFlex ® 4 and PowerFlex ® 4M drives to connect to a ControlNet network.

• Can be software configured to transfer as many as 4 words in Single mode or as man as 20 words in Multi-Drive mode of high-speed scheduled I/O on ControlNet
• Configurable control data to the drive in the event of a network loss or idle condition
• Unscheduled message support

When connecting to a ControlNet network, the following are required:

• 1 or 2 ControlNet Taps
• PowerFlex HIM, DriveExecutive ™ or DriveExplorer ™ or RSLogix 5000 v16 and higher for adapter configuration.
