The ControlNet communication interface module (1770- KFC15, -KFCD15) lets you connect serial devices to a ControlNet network via a serial PC Port. The 1770-KFC15 interface requires a 115/230V ac power source. The 1770-KFCD interface requires a 24V dc power source. Push buttons with seven-segment indicators are used to set and verify network address and serial RS-232- C communication parameters. 

The interface module supports these RS-232-C communication rates:

300 bits/s	4800 bits/s
600 bits/s	9600 bits/s
1200 bits/s	19200 bits/s
2400 bits/s	38400 bits/s

All parameter settings are saved in a non-volatile memory, meaning that you will not lose them if power to the module is interrupted. The 1770 interface module emulates a 1770-KF2 for easy migration from DH+ applications currently using a 1770-KF2.
