The ControlNet communication card connects the DriveLogix™ platform with the ControlNet network. The card also provides access for the DriveLogix controller to monitor and control I/O modules located remotely from the controller on the ControlNet network.

Four versions of the card are available:

• Non-redundant-coaxial-media ControlNet communication card (1788-CNC)
• Redundant-coaxial-media ControlNet communication card (1788-CNCR)
• Non-redundant fiber-optic media ControlNet communication card (1788-CNF)
• Redundant fiber-optic media ControlNet communication card (1788-CNFR)

Features Include:

• Can use up to 2 communication cards in each FlexLogix processor for maximum network connectivity
• 32 total connections per card
• 9 scheduled connections per card
• Optional media redundancy (dual BNC) available: Coax: 1788-CNCR; Fiber: 1788-CNFR
