ODVA's conformance testing provides general industry with the vendor-independent assurance that products built to the ODVA specifications comply with the ODVA specifications. ODVA's authorized conformance Test Service Providers (TSPs) conduct the ODVA approved conformance tests. CONFORMANCE TESTED products are those products that have passed conformance testing at a TSP.
The following conformance tests are currently available through ODVA:
- CIP Safety on DeviceNet
- CIP Safety on EtherNet/IP
- CompoNet Node (Master/Slave/Repeater)
- ControlNet Node (Scanner/Adapter)
- DeviceNet Node (Master/Slave - Client Server)
- DeviceNet Power Supply
- DeviceNet Embedded Technologies
- EtherNet/IP Node (Originator/Target)
- EtherNet/IP Node Options (DLR, CIP Sync, Connection Configuration Object)
- EtherNet/IP Embedded Technologies
Products that have successfully passed conformance testing at an ODVA authorized conformance test service provider receive an official Declaration of Conformity from ODVA and earn the right to use ODVA's CONFORMANCE TESTED certification word mark and logo marks as appropriate for the network connectivity of the product.
